Story Behind the Tent

The impetus and inspiration that lays behind the creation of Tent Time. It's all happening...

Coming into the month of December I knew that I needed to give myself the time and space to contract my energies and settle into a short winter hibernation. I had been producing a lot of paintings in my studio and engaging with large quantities of public, so felt a need for balance by quiet, seclusion, reflection, and connection. The tent has been set up in my studio for 1 month and I've had about 5 different visitors, some of them on many occasions. Now that I have the blog going to document the project I'll be inviting more and more people (friends, acquaintances, semi-strangers) to come inside the tent!
